Hazardous Materials Packaging

DOT-SP 8249 EXEMPT PACKAGING

This packaging system allows shippers to transport hazardous materials in absolute safety. It is extremely useful in reducing risks that shipments require no hazardous labels. The use of this system to ship materials with quantity limits not exceeding one litre for liquids or 2.85 kg (6 1/4 pounds) for solids.

UN MARKED WOODEN BOXES

UN marked wooden boxes are very versatile when customers are shipping heavy hazardous products such as dry batteries, fire extinguishers, etc. They are available in four different sizes, inclusive of liner bags and are suitable for all types of shipments. In order to pass testing requirements, vermiculite is needed for cushioning. Hazardous products like wet batteries need to have acid / alkali leak-proof liner to prevent the chemicals from leaking.
